This Friday at 6:30 we’ll be having a community potluck at POINT 5. Saleem from Aashiana Restaurant will be providing a dish because he’s one of the nicest restaurant owners around. Here’s a picture of him:

On another food note, today I picked the lettuce growing in front of POINT 5 and ate it on a sandwich. I also used some of the basil growing there.
And on another note regarding Future First Friday shows, we’d like to have
-a wallpaper show
-a LEGO show
We have some serious administrative work to do around the CDFi. In short, it seems the current cycle of “art movement” around CDFi is losing some of its edge. We need to get better organized to refresh our status quo. We need to do fewer, better events that will not burn out the people planning or participating in events. Our event schedule is often too hectic for even CDFi’ers to keep up with because it’s so jam packed, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it burns people out.
